Leaving behind his former mistress, he believes he can avoid justice by disappearing across the border. Years later, he returns to Hong Kong under a different identity, presenting himself as a Thai Chinese businessman. But he soon discovers that his former lover has married a police superintendent. Unable to accept the change in her life, he decides to use revenge and manipulation to regain control. Instead of confronting the superintendent directly, the drug lord sets a gambling trap. The police officer falls deeply into debt and is forced into a desperate position. With the threat of financial ruin hanging over him, he becomes vulnerable to the criminal's demands and is pressured into doing his bidding. Meanwhile, one of the female officers continues investigating the drug lord's activities. Her determined pursuit threatens to interfere with the criminal's deals and expose the operation he has worked so hard to protect. As the investigation closes in, he realizes that his new identity and carefully planned return may not be enough to keep him safe. The drug lord responds with an even more dangerous plan. He plots to kill the superintendent and frame the investigating officer, hoping to eliminate his problems while turning the police against one another. The case becomes increasingly complicated as personal relationships, gambling debts, and criminal interests collide. The police must distinguish the truth from a carefully constructed web of lies, while the drug lord uses every opportunity to protect himself and manipulate those around him. With a major drug deal at risk and an innocent officer facing possible betrayal, the female police team must uncover the scheme before the criminal can carry out his plan. Every clue brings them closer to the truth, but the closer they get, the more dangerous the investigation becomes. Can the officers expose the man hiding behind a false identity?
