This is a peaceful morning prayer for anyone who woke up today with a mind that would not stop racing and a heart that needed desperately to hear the words, be still, and know that I am God. This prayer is for the person lying awake at three in the morning running through every possible thing that could go wrong. For the one carrying financial fear so heavy it has settled into their chest like a stone. For the grandparent worrying about grandchildren they cannot always reach. For the retiree anxious about health, about money, about whether everything they worked for will be enough. For anyone who knows in their head that God is in control but needs help getting that truth from their head down into their heart this morning. We will pray together for release from anxiety, peace that surpasses understanding, freedom from the habit of worry, trust that God is already working on the very things that are keeping you up at night, and the kind of deep quiet in your soul that only the presence of the Holy Spirit can bring.
