This time, we explore the ruins of Ono Castle in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. During the Sengoku period, Ono Castle served as an important base for controlling maritime traffic in Ise Bay. The castle was associated with the Saji clan, which had close family ties to Oda Nobunaga. Saji Nobukata married Nobunaga's younger sister, Oinu, while Saji Kazunari married Nobunaga's niece, Go (Oeyo), who later became the wife of Tokugawa Hidetada. Today, the site is maintained as Shiroyama Park, with a castle-shaped observation tower offering views over Ise Bay. We explore the historic castle grounds, a torii gate overlooking the sea, the observation tower, and Saji Shrine. We walk with DaiFeel〈Oda Nobunaga〉, a Japanese-made aluminum bear bell engraved with the Oda family crest. Enjoy the sounds of the wind, footsteps, and the ringing bell. No background music.
