On the Ballot: Nonpartisan and Minor Party Voters

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear during a primary election is that there is nothing on my ballot if I’m not registered with a political party. The truth is, every eligible voter in Collier County has something to vote on this Primary Election. While Florida’s closed primary system means most partisan races are limited to voters registered with those political parties, voters without a political affiliation still have nonpartisan contests on their ballot.
