Three Years After I Almost Died

Three years ago today, I went to the hospital because I knew something wasn’t right. Twenty-four hours later, I found out I was in heart failure. Today, my heart has fully recovered, my daughter is three, and I’m still processing how much that experience changed me. So I figured we could fold some laundry and talk about it. This isn’t medical advice. It’s just my story, three years later, and maybe a reminder to listen to your body, make the appointment, tell your people you love them, and remember that even when life gets really dark, there can be so much more on the other side.
