Call Back with Love

CALL BACK WITH LOVE The song focuses on the vital importance of calling back on anyone who shows even a spark of interest in the Bible’s message so they can be given the opportunity of a free Bible study. Jesus commissioned his followers not only to preach but to “make disciples… teaching them” (Matthew 28:19, 20). A preacher proclaims, but a teacher instructs and cultivates. We must return on all who show interest, returning promptly to water the seed of truth before it can be snatched away. The goal of every return visit is to start a progressive Bible study so that interested ones can grow in knowledge, draw close to Jehovah, and have the opportunity to walk the road to life. Showing personal interest, preparing well, and following up diligently brings real joy and can result in precious new disciples. [Verse 1] Someone opened the door and listened a while, A spark of interest, a thoughtful smile. They took the literature or asked a question true, Now the seed is planted — what will we do? Jesus said make disciples, teaching them His way, So we must call back and not delay. [Pre-Chorus] Don’t let the interest fade away, Return with kindness, come what may. Water the seed with patient care, Give them the chance to learn and share. [Chorus] Call back on the ones who showed interest today, Offer a Bible study in a warm and gentle way. Help them see the truth that leads to life, Cultivate the heart with love and light. For Jehovah is searching for those who will hear, And a simple return visit can draw them near. Show them the path that leads to peace, Call back with love — let the interest increase. [Verse 2] A few days later, knock on that door once more, With a smile and a scripture they’ve never heard before. Ask how they’re doing, listen with care, Then open the Bible and leave a thought there. Keep the goal in mind — a study to start, So they can know Jehovah and open their heart. [Bridge] Lives are involved, precious souls at stake, A little persistence is all it can take. Many are in the truth today Because someone returned and showed them the way. So set aside time, prepare with prayer, And follow up — Jehovah’s blessing is there. [Final Chorus] (with soft three-part harmonies) Call back on the ones who showed interest today, Offer a Bible study in a warm and gentle way. Help them see the truth that leads to life, Cultivate the heart with love and light. For Jehovah is searching for those who will hear, And a simple return visit can draw them near. Show them the path that leads to peace, Call back with love — let the interest increase.
