More info: http://animist.nl Here are the first four minutes of the show Apichat Pakwan (อภิชาติ ปากหวาน) performed at Best Kept Secret Festival 2026 in The Netherlands. First up is their unreleased new tracks 'Ma Fon Nam Kan', followed by their version of the Isan traditional 'Lam Toey Pasom', as heard in 'The White Lotus' S3. The performers in this video are: Mutita Trosawat: voice Supakij Wongchang: phin Olivier Schreuder: electronics, klong yao Apichat Pakwan's music is a mix of molam, dub, hiphop and electro, and is also known as 'Esantronics' or 'Asian Tropical Bass'. They perform with their own compositions, as well as with new interpretations of classic Thai and Lao folkmusic repertory. The music collective was founded in 2015 by Dutch musician Olivier Schreuder (electronics, compositions, traditional Isan instruments) and Thai musician Angkanang Pimwankum (percussion, traditional Thai instruments). Apichat Pakwan tours since 2016 in Europe & Asia, including sets on the Holland Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, WOMEX in Portugal, Fusion Festival in Germany, Amsterdam Roots, Na Fir Bolg in Belgium, World Experience Festival in Romania, Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai, Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen, Studio Lam in Bangkok, Vang Vieng Fest in Laos, and Kult in Singapore.
