Increasing abdominal or visceral fat 2. Feeling hungry again soon after eating 3. Frequent cravings for something sweet 4. Dark, thick or velvety skin around the neck, armpits or other folds, which may be acanthosis nigricans 5. Multiple skin tags, which can be associated with insulin resistance 6. Regular exhaustion or sleepiness after meals, particularly after meals high in refined carbohydrates One sign alone does not mean you have insulin resistance. These changes can have many other causes, so they should not be used for self-diagnosis. If you notice several of these signs, discuss them with a healthcare professional and consider appropriate blood-sugar testing. The video also shares practical lifestyle habits that support metabolic health: 1. Move regularly and walk for 10–15 minutes after major meals when possible. 2. Include vegetables, protein, fibre and healthy fats in your meals. 3. Reduce refined and highly processed carbohydrates. 4. Avoid constant unnecessary snacking. 5. Practise yoga, including Surya Namaskar, Mandukasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana and Pavanmuktasana, according to your capacity. 6. Prioritise adequate sleep and stress management. Clove water is also discussed as a traditional morning habit, but it should not be considered a treatment for insulin resistance or a substitute for medical care. Early attention to lifestyle habits and appropriate health checks can help you take better care of your metabolic health. #InsulinResistance #BloodSugar #MetabolicHealth #HealthyLifestyle Watch More Videos from Our Playlists: Natural Cure for High Cholesterol | Heart Health Remedies & Yoga | Dr Hansaji    • Natural Cure for High Cholesterol | Heart ...   Improve Digestion Naturally | Gut Health, Bloating & Constipation Home Remedies | Dr Hansaji    • Improve Digestion Naturally | Gut Health, ...   Visit our website at: https://theyogainstitute.org/ Download our New Meditation App - Nispand: Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...
