Did MSFS 2024 Sim Update 6 actually fix the ILS glideslope and localizer alignment issues? According to the release notes, threshold crossing height values and ILS alignments were corrected. To put this to the test, I took the Aerosoft A340-600 v1.0.4 on a test flight at Asobo's handcrafted Madrid Barajas (LEMD), taking off from Runway 36L and setting up an ILS approach to Runway 32R—a runway historically known for severe glideslope inaccuracies. While performance under Sim Update 6 was remarkably smooth and stutter-free (even clearer than SU5.1), the ILS RWY 32R glideslope still brought the aircraft significantly below the PAPI path.
