Bow Fishing for Carp on Potholes Reservoir 2025

This was our first trip to Pothole Reservoir in central Washington state. Summer time bow fishing for Carp can be a little tougher than hunting them during the spawn in May. However we had a blast exploring and chasing Carp on Potholes. If Moses Lake has the highest population of Carp then Potholes has the second highest. In spite of the wind making it impossible to hunt part of the time we were there, we managed to fill out bin a couple times and learning the layout of Potholes Reservoir was an experience I won't forget anytime soon.
