Anthony Deadeye - Kerosene Soul (Heavy Swamp Blues)

Cold iron heart. Kerosene soul. Digging my way right out of the hole. "Kerosene Soul" is an aggressive, high-octane heavy swamp blues stomp. Built on an overdriven bullet-mic harmonica, a low-tuned fuzz slide resonator, and a thunderous foot-stomp beat, this is a song about burning bridges you never wanted to cross again. If you dig heavy blues with dirt under its nails, hit SUBSCRIBE and turn the volume all the way up. 🔥 LYRICS: Got a pocket full of lead and a dead man’s watch, Drinking river water cut with bottom-shelf scotch. Old black crow on a rotting cedar tree, Looking at the ditch that was dug for me. Let the rain come down, let the mud run thick, I’m a rusted piece of iron that the fire couldn't lick. There’s a shadow by the road with a warrant in its coat, Trying to put a heavy leather collar on my throat. I told that lawman, "Brother, save your breath, I’ve been five miles past the edge of death." Gave him one good look from my dead right eye, Even buzzards know when a dog won't die. You can strike that match... You can turn the screw... Lord, you can't scare a man with nothing left to lose! Give me cold iron! Give me kerosene! Dirtiest water that the devil’s ever seen! Pound that hammer, let the anvil ring, I don’t answer to no preacher, don’t answer to no king! Just a cold iron heart... and a kerosene soul... Digging my way right out of the hole! Sun went down behind the cypress knees, Hear the iron chains rattling in the southern breeze. They’re lighting up torches out on County Road Nine, Hunting down a ghost that they’ll never find. I left my tracks in the red clay floor, And I nailed my trouble to the courthouse door. Cold iron... Kerosene... Lord, you never saw a man so mean. Yeah... so mean. 👉 Subscribe to the Channel: ‪@AnthonyDeadeye‬ SONG SPECS: • Genre: Heavy Swamp Blues / Dark Blues Rock • Instruments: Overdriven Blues Harp, Resonator Slide Guitar, Fuzz Bass, Foot Stomp & Chains © 2026 Anthony Deadeye.
