Age of the Ring | Sauron’s Final Assault - Conquest of Middle-earth (Custom Map)

SAURON HAS RECLAIMED THE ONE RING! The War of the Ring has taken a dark turn. The Hobbits have been slain, the One Ring has returned to its master, and Sauron now marches upon Gondor with one goal: destroy the kingdoms of Men and rule Middle-earth. In this Age of the Ring custom map, you take control of Sauron and command the forces of Mordor in an alternate version of the War of the Ring. To the west lies Minas Tirith and the Pelennor Fields defended by the armies of Gondor and Rohan. In the center stands Osgiliath, guarded by Prince Imrahil and his cavalry, blocking the road to Minas Tirith. To the east, the forces of darkness gather around Minas Morgul, while Isengard stands ready to join the invasion. Your campaign begins with the destruction of Osgiliath, followed by a massive battle against the armies of Rohan at the Pelennor Fields. Once the field is won, the final assault begins: storm Minas Tirith, defeat Gandalf and Aragorn, and bring an end to the World of Men. Along the way, recruit Saruman and the Haradrim and unleash the full power of Sauron's armies.
