Tutorial 4 of the Anvesco series: making plant lists from a P&ID.
Line, equipment, instrument and valve lists are still often typed by hand. Anvesco reads the P&ID and fills them for you; you check each row against the drawing, correct it if needed, and export to Excel.
In this video:
• Open a P&ID, or just drop it on the start screen
• Why the client's legend matters (named symbols, their tag format)
• Click a row and the drawing goes to that item; search any tag
• The five lists: lines (size, fluid, class, insulation, from / to), equipment, instruments, valves, special items
• Tick each checked row; amber rows need a look; hand edits show in blue
• Filter: only rows that need a look, or are not checked yet
• Export all lists to one Excel workbook
