Three large Himalayan singing bowls, 136.1 Hz, 272.2 Hz (its octave) and 408.3 Hz (its twelfth), struck slowly for one hour. Nothing else: no talking, no melody, nothing cutting in. Each strike is left to ring all the way out. The big 136.1 Hz bowl (Om, C#3) carries the weight, low in the register of the floor bowls used in meditation halls, and the others answer softly above it. The pace never hurries and never quite repeats. Good for meditation, sound healing, massage, yoga, reading, or falling asleep. Low volume is enough.
