Ten seconds was just the beginning.
At midnight the world stops again, but this time it isn't you. Vale, the stranger from Part 1, gets ten minutes a day, and he wants to show you what they can do: fireworks that never fade, an airliner parked in the sky, a wave you can walk under. Then he tells you the rule nobody told you. Your pause grows when you give, and shrinks when you take. Vale has been taking for thirty years, and his last job is a fifty-million-dollar diamond guarded by your best friend.
Ten minutes a day. Would you use them like Vale, or like you? Tell me in the comments.
