Victor 10-1494-B.

Given that both song and movie were such a hit, it's anybody's guess why Jones waited 14 years to record it. The story goes that when the film was in pre-production, this song by MGM team Arthur Freed and Nacio Herb Brown was pulled out of deep freeze. When they heard it, the Marx Brothers, typically nervous about their material, hated it. It was such a hit, however, that within a year no fewer than 8 bands recorded it, including Tommy Dorsey, Hal Kemp, and Harry Richman.
