Gaston Bélier – Toccata in d minor

Welcome to my first YouTube video! In this video, we perform Gaston Bélier’s Toccata on the magnificent organ of the Herz Jesu Church in Wels, Austria. This was our very first visit to this beautiful church, and we were excited to discover its impressive Kögler organ, featuring 50 stops. One of the most special features of this instrument is its Spanish trumpets, which are not commonly found on Kögler organs. They give the instrument a distinctive character and a powerful, unique sound. We hope you enjoy this performance and the fascinating sound of this wonderful pipe organ! 📍 Location & Organ • Church: Herz Jesu Church, Wels, Austria • Organ Builder: Kögler • Number of Stops: 50 • Special Feature: Spanish trumpets • Piece: Toccata by Gaston Bélier 🙏 Special Thanks A very special thank you to Dr. Franz Eitelberger for welcoming us, unlocking the church for us, and showing us around.
