The Congress of Rough Riders' Dull Adventure Bike Rides Ep. 2 - The Road to Beyneu, Kazakhstan 2018

Here at The Congress of Rough Riders we are mad about adventure motorbiking, but there is no getting away from the fact that between each little bit of adventure, there is quite of lot of dull, unadventurous stuff. It's a shame to waste that footage, though, so we'll select the dullest videos and post them from time to time for those who appreciate the everyday dullness of getting from A-Adventure on a biking trip. This footage is taken from our 2018 traverse of the longest European E route, the E40, which stretches over 5000 miles from Calais, France to Ridder, North-east Kazakstan. The desert stretch around the Caspian sea from Atyrau to Beyneu, just short of the Uzbekistan border, is around 270 miles of flat, straight, hot road. Beyneu itself is a one-camel road/rail junction in the middle of nowhere. Nothing to see except a pretty bad sculpture of a boat. Can't imagine what they do at weekends. There is literally nothing to see here. Enjoy this 10 minutes of your life that you won't get back.
