Steam Miscellany - Aug 26. OO Model Railway

A running session for a variety of steam locos. First out is Br 9F Evening Star with coal wagons - a reminder that despite the green livery it is a heavy freight loco. Ex LNER J36 passes by on the 'Scots goods'. Next are a couple of 2-6-2T locos on passenger: ex GWR small prairie in its preserved London Transport livery passes ex LMS Fowler 3P 40056 being tried out on a BR (NE) rake of Gresley coaches. Bachmann spilt chassis J72 68743 heads a trip freight and crosses kitbuilt Thompson A2/1 pacific 508 'Duke of Rothesay' on a parcels train. Two classic LMS locos are next - preserved 4P compound 4-4-0 and 'crab' 2-6-0 13000. Lastly a J70 tram loco floats along with a container train
