1954 MOTOROLA Model # 54HF1 3-Speed Hi-Fi Table Phonograph

Here's a beautiful Motorola tabletop pnonograph from 1954. These are NOT often found and they're cool because instead of speakers being fired through grill cloth, this has a bottom fired speaker system consisting of an 8" and a 6" speaker...Hi-Fidelity of course!. This allows for listening at any angle without losing any volume or being muffled in any way. The amplifier features a copper chassis w/12AX7, 6C4 and a pair of 50C5's feeding the two speakers. Having a better amp, this also has bass & treble controls as well as the volume control. The cabinet is Mahogany with a beautiful burl face, VERY uncommon for a table model phono. The player has been professionally restored w/new Sonotone ceramic stereo cartridge bridged for mono, cleaned-lubed-adjusted VM 3-speed changer, and restored chassis for many more years of pleasurable listening. This IS for sale. I'm looking for $375 and shipping. This is a beautiful player and I know whomever gets it will be pleased with the way it operates and the way it sounds! Hope you've enjoyed seeing another wonderful piece of 50's history! Stay tuned...more to come!
