🍞 Did you know that two simple loaves of bread can turn into three pantry staples?
Today I'm showing you how to take two loaves of bread and turn them into:
Homemade bread cubes for stuffing
Homemade bread crumbs
Garlic herb croutons
Why spend extra money buying these items at the grocery store when you can make them yourself?
I'm passionate about teaching people how to save money, be resourceful, and fill their pantries with homemade staples. Sometimes saving money isn't about buying more—it's about learning to make more with what you already have!
Let's get back to the basics, waste less, save more, and take pride in filling our own pantries.
*A little work today can mean more money saved tomorrow!*
Croutons:
6 cups fresh bread cubes, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp. onion powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. black pepper. Combine and bake at 300 degrees on the second-to-top rack in the oven. Takes about 30 minutes.
