I was craving Ayamase/Ofada stew, but I couldn't find green pepper, so I decided to make my own version with red pepper instead! It may not be the traditional green Ayamase, but my sister… we move! Come along and see how it turned out. The real Ingredients are listed below For the pepper blend 8–10 green bell peppers 6–10 green scotch bonnet peppers — adjust to your heat level 2 medium onions 1 small red bell pepper (optional, for a little colour) For the stew 250–400 ml palm oil 1 large onion, sliced 2–3 tablespoons iru (locust beans) 500–700 g assorted meat — beef, shaki, cow skin, etc. 2–4 boiled eggs 1–2 seasoning cubes Salt to taste ½–1 teaspoon ground crayfish (optional) A little stock from cooking the meat #Bumshasha #Ayamase #OfadaStew #NigerianFood #NigerianRecipes #NigerianCooking #AfricanFood #NaijaFood #NigerianFoodie #NigerianInUK #CookingVlog #FoodFromHome #RedPepperAyamase #AyamaseRecipe #OfadaStewRecipe
