It was peaceful at first, but suddenly, the rain began to fall. Instead of stopping completely, I decided to look for something we could cook for our meal. I went fishing, hoping to catch some fish from the irrigation, but unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to catch anything that day. 🎣 But in the countryside, there is always something that nature can provide. I went home with no fish, but I didn't go home empty-handed. Along the way, I harvested some fresh okra and saluyot—simple vegetables that were freely available from nature. 🌱 And that's what I cooked for our meal. Sometimes, we don't need much to prepare something good. We simply make use of what is available around us. No fancy ingredients, no expensive food—just fresh vegetables, a simple kitchen, and gratitude for what nature provides. This is one of the things I love about Buhay Probinsya—learning to appreciate the simple things, making the most of what we have, and finding happiness in an uncomplicated life. Free food from nature, a simple meal, and a peaceful rainy day—that is more than enough for a simple life in the countryside. 💚 🎋 BUILDING OUR BAMBOO FENCE Before the rain came, I also spent time working on our bamboo fence. Living in the countryside means doing things with our own hands. From cutting and preparing bamboo to building a simple fence around our home, every little task becomes part of everyday provincial life. And even when the rain comes, life and work continue. Rain or shine, we keep going. 🌧️🎋 🐾 ALONG THIS EPISODE Of course, my dear dogs and cats are also part of our daily life here in the countryside. 🐶🐱 Please stay with us throughout this episode. Take a moment to relax, listen to the gentle sound of falling rain, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of a simple provincial life. 💚 A KIND REMINDER If you wish to support this channel, I do have a GCash account.
