Sketchbook ideas! How to fill yours with beautiful paintings

There’s such a feeling of accomplishment when it comes to finishing a sketchbook and I’ve been looking forward to completing this one. Most of the watercolour sketches in this sketchbook you may recognise from the videos on my channel, but I wanted to do a tour for those of you who haven’t seen! Most of the sketchbook entries in my book are of local scenes, landscapes and some holiday photographs that I’ve taken, they make such nice little paintings what do you think? Do you use sketchbooks? Do they help you with different techniques etc? I’d love your feedback and thoughts 🙏👍 ———————- 00:00 - 00:27 Finished my sketchbook! 00:27 - 00:49 Seawhite of Brighton 00:49 - 01:02 Durham Cathedral door knocker 01:02 - 01:42 Heartshead plein air! 01:42 - 03:32 Daisy nook sketches 03:32 - 04:39 Crowhill cottages 04:39 - 06:49 Another view of Heartshead 06:49 - 07:39 Hollingworth lake scene! 07:39 - 09:17 Hebdenbridge sketch 09:17 - 11:14 Back to Hollingworth lake 11:14 - 13:50 Moravian settlement 13:50 - 15:20 Tree studies 15:20 - 17:19 Lytham st Anne’s 17:19 - 18:09 Local farms 18:09 - 19:47 Blue Lagoon Turkiye 19:47 - 20:34 hole in the wall 20:34 - 21:08 Local urban scene 21:08 - 22:05 Uppermill Oldham 22:05 - 22:31 Tree textures 22:31 - 23:14 In the Park 23:14 - 24:07 Historic city of Bath 24:07 - 25:02 Levenshulme baths 25:02 - 25:45 Edinburgh City scene 25:02 - 26:44 Seahouses & Banburgh castle 26:44 - 27:16 Sky scenes 27:16 - 27:34 Dovestones 27:34 - 28:16 Rockscape 28:16 - 29:32 Mountain landscape 29:32 - 30:18 Thanks for watching! —————————-
