We visit Andrew Whiteford, Burnfoot Farm, Sanquhar who has integrated large scale forestry for long-term commercial gain, better livestock management, access, and shelter belts, whereas Katharine and David Lowrie at Auchgoyle Farm, Tighnabruaich are primarily focused upon returning the land to a diverse, thriving, and resilient landscape, benefitting wildlife and biodiversity.
