Edward Cowie Piano Trio- 'Into the Deeps'

I regret I didn't have the technology ten years ago to record this 60th birthday homage to my wife, Heather Jean. Like many of her visual real output, I've often been stimulated and prompted to make a musical response to her works- in this case to some of her mixed media assemblages. Translating and transferring musical (and natural) sound(s) to visual outcomes was the focus and core of her Master of Creative Arts programme. Here, the process is reversed- her visualisations resonate and activate my acoustic sensitivity. Sadly, this is another major work of mine that has languished in the stores of my publisher, United Music Publishing (UMP), not through any lack of support from them of course but so far, I've been unable to find a Piano Trio (and there are many of them!) willing go put this on the musical stage. Now that I can publish such a wonderful 'recording', I'm hoping it won't be long before someone programs it! Ideally, I'd love it to be performed with a trio by my beloved Haydn!
