This is my Moms Recipe which includes Untraditional added carrots, potatoes, and coconut cream (All Optional) on top of the Original Traditional Khao Poon Recipe. The added Coconut Cream (Also Optional) will thicken the Broth and make this the most Rich & Creamiest Khao Poon you ever had. This takes the Original Khao Poon 🍜 Recipe to another Element (A Must Try). 😋🤤🔥🌶. My Traditional Khao Poon Recipe 🍜. 1 Whole Chicken or two chicken thighs and two chicken breast. 9 Liters of Water to Pot Bring to a boil, then add 👇🏻 1 Tbs of Salt 10 Pieces of Kaffir Lime Leaves 2 Stalk of Lemon Grass Chop into Five Pieces. 2 Pieces of thinly sliced Galangal Next! Add 👇🏻 3 Tbsp of Vegatable Oil to pan 1 Cup of chopped Shallots 1 Cup of chopped Garlic 10 pieces of Kaffir Lime Leaves 1/2 Cup of Chicken Bouillon 2 Cans of Red Curry Paste 3 Tbs of Mono Sodium Glutamate 7 oz of the bagged version of Red Curry Paste. 2 Tbs of Shrimp Paste 2 Cans of Coconut Milk Paprika for Color Next add these back to the pot👇🏻 Cooked Bamboo Shoots Shredded Chicken Fish Sauce to taste.
