Whistler Anniversary Weekend | A Series of Misfortunate & Memorable Events

Forgot to edit the end but feels like it it suites the vibe of this vlog so it shall stay Come along with us for our anniversary weekend in Whistler! We spent three days and two nights staying at the Pan Pacific and somehow managed to fit a lot into one weekend. We took the gondola up Whistler Mountain and hiked the High Note Trail, which was easily one of the highlights of the trip. The views were beautiful and I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen so many marmots in my life. We probably saw 10 to 15 of them, a few pika, and even had eagles fly over us. We also did Vallea Lumina, had an amazing anniversary dinner at Wild Blue, explored Whistler Village, had a few too many drinks and generally had such a nice weekend together. Of course, no trip with us seems to go completely according to plan. There was traffic, accidentally packed dirty laundry, some questionable food choices, an unfortunate bathroom situation on the trail, and I managed to badly sprain my ankle halfway through our hike. Somehow all of it just made the weekend even more memorable. Definitely not the anniversary weekend we planned, but probably one of the ones we’ll remember the most. We’re laughing about it now, so you can laugh at us too.
