As you approach, you'll hear the roar of the waterfall and feel the mist coming off the falls. 🐻 Hiking With Your Dog in Yoho National Park Yoho National Park is home to wildlife including bears, elk, wolves and cougars, so dogs need to remain leashed and under control. We also recommend bringing plenty of water, poop bags and bear spray when exploring the Canadian Rockies. 🚗 Planning Your Visit Takakkaw Falls can get extremely busy during the summer, so consider arriving early in the morning or later in the day. Yoho Valley Road is seasonal, so always check current road, trail and park conditions with Parks Canada before heading out.
