Come Find Me - Jakob Owens Horror Short Film Contest 2026 (Best Scare Award)

Long before the old fort fell silent, forgotten rituals were performed in the shadows. Strange symbols were painted in blood across ancient walls, their meanings hidden behind whispers and legends. Some were believed to protect sacred places. Others were warnings to those who dared to enter. Centuries passed. Kingdoms disappeared. The fort was abandoned, leaving only cold stone, darkness, and symbols whose secrets were lost to time. When a man discovers a mysterious tape containing a desperate plea for help, he follows its voice to an abandoned fort, determined to uncover what happened. But some secrets were never meant to be uncovered. COME FIND ME is a short folk-horror film inspired by ancient Slavic folklore, forgotten rituals, mysterious symbols, and the unsettling secrets hidden within abandoned fort.
