THE GREAT PURGE: How Nicaea Murdered the Ancient Christian Leader SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/SUBSCRIBERESTINMYSTERY History remembers the Council of Nicaea as a moment of unity — but behind the scenes, it was a purge. In “THE GREAT PURGE: How Nicaea Murdered the Ancient Christian Leader,” we uncover the dark side of Christianity’s most famous council — where faith, power, and politics collided to decide who would live, who would die, and which beliefs were allowed to survive. Before Nicaea, the early Christian world was a vibrant mix of teachers, sects, and competing ideas about Christ. But under Emperor Constantine’s rule, that diversity was declared dangerous. Dozens of ancient leaders were silenced, exiled, or executed — their writings branded as heresy, their followers erased from history. This is the untold story of how a single council reshaped Christianity forever, turning an underground faith into an empire — and erasing those who refused to conform. Who were these forbidden Christian leaders? What truths did they protect? And why did the Church work so hard to bury them? Join us as we explore ancient documents, lost Christian sects, and the forgotten martyrs of faith — the ones who dared to challenge the birth of orthodoxy.
