A New Garden Project! | October Jobs, Planting & More

A new garden project is underway! 🌱 October has arrived and we’ve got plenty of jobs to be getting on with in the garden. The IBC water tank finally arrives — although I actually spot the delivery from my office window! — and Doug gets started on the new water-harvesting project. There’s plenty of autumn jobs to tackle too: planting bulbs and daffodils, sowing sweet peas and flowers for next year, removing my rather disappointing cauliflowers, cutting back the squash and outdoor tomatoes, harvesting leeks and planting out broccoli. We also have a few garden visitors and distractions along the way, including a squirrel leaving evidence of his latest activities in the greenhouse, Bonny coming along to supervise, and plenty of little jobs that somehow turn into bigger jobs! And with the weather becoming decidedly autumnal, there’s plenty going on before winter really arrives. Thanks so much for watching and supporting My Bountiful Acre. 🌱 Happy Gardening everyone Sue x #Gardening #VegetableGardening #AutumnGardening #GrowingYourOwn #gardenvlog 00:00 A New project begins.. 03:52 Sweetpea time already? 06:02 Cauliflower disaster & Some urgent pruning 11:36 Salvaging Old tulips & planting daffoldils 16:07 Planting Broccoli with a little help from Bonny! 23:37 Planning & Sowing next springs crops!
