Upton United Women vs FC Pontefract

Yes you read that right! Upton United Community Sports Club has it's first ever women's team! Formed in April from mother's of some of our junior teams' players, these women spent many a weekend morning at the sidelines and courageously stepped up and have spent the last few months learning the game and honing their skills. The second league game in the WBL saw the women take on FC Pontefract and after last weeks' emphatic win, looking to continue to build on their success.
