Rain Machine | Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Short

A century ago, humanity abandoned the land. As a mysterious evil swept across the world, the last surviving adults placed their children on boats and rafts and sent them out to sea. Somehow, the water protected them. Three generations later, those children have become legends. History has become religion. Language has changed. Fear and superstition govern life on the ocean. Protected beneath a machine that keeps them constantly drenched in rain, two young explorers return to the forbidden land. Zach is convinced that "aminals" still exist on the surface. To prove it, he must challenge everything his people believe about the world beyond the sea. Rain Machine is a standalone proof-of-concept short film set within a much larger mythology. Like the tip of an iceberg, only a small part of that world is shown on screen. PLONS!
