Webinar on Plasmonics enabled Super-resolution microscopy techniques

Recently developed super-resolution microscopy techniques offer a great promise to enable ground-breaking research avenues for biological applications. These techniques let us surpass the diffraction limit, revealing images that have not been possible before. In this talk, we focus on plasmonic structured illumination microscopy (SIM) technique which enables the visualization capabilities at the nanoscale level. We reveal the underlying physics behind SIM and the vital role played by surface plasmons generated in a semiconductor heterostructure.
