ഇന്ത്യയും ജപ്പാനും തമ്മിലുള്ള സൈനിക ബന്ധം പുതിയ തലത്തിലേക്ക് വഴിമാറുക ആണ്. ജാപ്പനീസ് യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങള്‍ ആദ്യമായി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ മണ്ണില്‍ ഇറങ്ങാന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. ഇത് ഇന്ത്യയെയും ജപ്പാനെയും സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ചരിത്ര നിമിഷം തന്നെ ആണ്. ജാപ്പനീസ് വ്യോമസേനയുടെ എഫ്2എ യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങള്‍ സെപ്റ്റംബറില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തും. ഈ ജാപ്പനീസ് വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വ്യോമസേനയ്ക്ക്് ഒപ്പം വീര്‍ ഗാര്‍ഡിയന്‍ 26ന്റെ സൈനികാ ആഭ്യാസത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കും. ഇന്ത്യയും ജപ്പാനും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഒരു ഉഭയകക്ഷി വ്യോമാ ആഭ്യാസം ആണിത്. മൂന്ന് ജാപ്പനീസ് എഫ്2എ യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങള്‍ തായ്ലന്‍ഡിലെ ഒകിനാവ വഴി ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെടുകയും തുടര്‍ന്ന് അവിടേക്ക് പോകുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഈ യാത്രയില്‍ യുഎസ് വ്യോമസേനയുടെ എണ്ണ ടാങ്കറുകള്‍ ഈ വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആകാശത്ത് ഇന്ധനം നിറയ്ക്കും, അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ക്ക് ഇത്രയും ദൂരം എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ സഞ്ചരിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും. സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 9 മുതല്‍ 21 വരെ രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ ജോധ്പൂരില്‍ ആണ് വീര്‍ ഗാര്‍ഡിയന്‍ അഭ്യാസം നടക്കുക. India and Japan are set to take their military ties to a new level, with Japanese fighter jets preparing to land on Indian soil for the first time. The move marks a historic moment for both countries. Three F-2A fighter jets of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force are expected to arrive in India in September to participate in Veer Guardian 26, a bilateral air exercise with the Indian Air Force. The three Japanese F-2A fighter jets will travel to India via Okinawa and Thailand. During the journey, U.S. Air Force aerial refueling tankers will provide mid-air refueling to help the aircraft cover the long distance. Veer Guardian 26 will be conducted in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from September 9 to 21.
