Six days alone on the Lycian Way, from Fethiye to Pydnai, mostly along the coast of Mugla. I walked it in October 2026 with a phone, a small tent and no plan beyond the next village: Day 1 — Fethiye to Faralya (27 km): pastries in the morning, Kayakoy at noon, tea in Butterfly Valley, and a camp at 713 m with the sea below. Day 2 — Faralya to Kabak (6 km): the short day and the first swim. Day 3 — Kabak to Paradise Beach (8 km): the coastal path, the technical one, and my first friends on the way. Day 4 — Kabak to Sidyma (15 km): up into the mountains, two walkers joined me, and I slept at the muhtar's house. Day 5 — Sidyma to Gavuragili (9 km): the ruins in the morning, a herd of goats on the hill before Bel, asphalt to the village, and a campfire with a kitten that would not leave. Day 6 — Gavuragili to Pydnai (10 km): the last morning, fruit trees, and a dolmus to Fethiye because my flight would not wait. I never did see Pydnai. Roughly 77 km and 3,500 m of climbing altogether. Water is the thing to plan around; the trail is waymarked, but the coastal sections between Kabak and Alinca are slow and loose underfoot. No music, just wind, goat bells and footsteps. Filmed entirely on a phone. Thanks for watching. 0:00 Cold open — before dawn 0:24 DAY 1 — Fethiye › Faralya 2:28 DAY 2 — Faralya › Kabak 4:10 DAY 3 — Kabak › Paradise Beach 5:21 DAY 4 — Kabak › Sidyma 6:13 DAY 5 — Sidyma › Gavuragili 9:44 DAY 6 — Gavuragili › Pydnai 10:16 Outro — memories, the shoes, one last selfie #LycianWay #LikyaYolu #LongDistanceWalking #WildCamping #Turkey #Fethiye #Kabak #Sidyma
