YOU WERE FAITHFUL THEN | Deep Worship About the God of Job, Abraham, Esther, Hannah, Paul & More

You Were Faithful Then” is a deep worship song about the unchanging faithfulness of God. The same God who met Job in the ashes, Abraham in the waiting, Hannah in her tears, Esther in the moment of courage, Mary in surrender, Paul in transformation, and Blind Bartimaeus in desperation is still the same God today. Different generations. Different battles. Different stories. But the same faithful God. This song is for anyone walking through a season that feels unfinished. If you are waiting on God… If you are praying through tears… If you are trusting Him without understanding… If you are believing for restoration… If you are asking Him for courage… If you are holding onto a promise that seems delayed… Let this worship remind you: You were faithful then. You are faithful now. Sometimes when we read Bible stories, we forget that the people in them did not know the ending while they were living through the pain. They had to trust God in the middle of the waiting, the confusion, the opposition and the unknown. And so do we. Our prayer is that this song strengthens your faith and reminds you that the God who wrote their testimonies is still writing yours. The God of Abraham still keeps His promises. The God of Hannah still hears prayer. The God of Esther still positions people for purpose. The God of Job is still present in suffering. The God who called Mary still honours surrender. The Jesus who stopped for Bartimaeus still hears the cry of faith. The Jesus who transformed Paul can still completely transform a life. He has not changed.
