[4K] FLOOR WATSU demonstration in 2023 World Thai Massage Competition in Tokyo, Martist Ung

[WATERLESS WATSU] I have discovered a technique that can effectively alleviate unconscious tension. The model in this video, who served as a judge in a 2023 World Thai Massage competition, was experiencing extreme tension in his body. During the event, his pelvic and thoracic movements lacked fluidity due to the extended period of time he spent observing and standing. Though he was supine, his spine still caused him unconscious unease. My approach involved calming both the peripheral and sympathetic nervous systems to help him relax. My goal was to avoid exerting pressure on the body and encourage the customer's body to move naturally within the designated range rather than forcibly stretching it. I aimed to give him the feeling of floating on water. When we are on the water, it is easier to detect my nervousness than when we are not surrounded by water. Make your customer notice their nervousness by themselves, it can greatly contribute to a sense of relaxation in the body. In order to accomplish this, I employ a range of techniques such as lifting, shifting, and rotating the client's body. This helps them become more aware of their muscle tension from different positions.
