Elden Ring: Ancient Dragon-Man, Dragon-Hunter’s Katana & Bayle - Episode 35

Hi everyone, it’s me, FacelessNobody. I invite you to sit next to me and play Elden Ring together - one of my favorite games. I’ve already beaten this game a few times, so I can share some tips with you during our journey. In this episode, we don’t do too much, to be honest, mostly because we get stuck fighting the Ancient Dragon-Man. I don’t know why, but for some reason, this fight becomes a real challenge for me. I can’t properly keep up with his attack patterns, even though there are a few attempts where we almost win. But everything changes when I decide to go back to our roots and fight with two halberds instead of a sword and shield. And somehow, we manage to kill him on the second try. It’s funny how much easier this fight becomes with two halberds. But the funniest part is the final blow. We hit each other at the same time, so it isn’t a normal victory. We defeat him, and he defeats us at the same moment. Truly epic. After that, we get his weapon, the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana, so we return to the Roundtable Hold for a moment and upgrade it to +7. Since we are already there, we also speak with the Dung Eater. This bad-smelling guy gives us a key to a secret place beneath the capital, but we are only going to visit Leyndell after finishing the DLC, so that won’t happen too soon. After all that, we go to fight a dragon and test our new katana. Since it has an anti-dragon effect, its skill deals pretty decent damage, but I don’t really like the moveset that much. Then we try fighting with Rykard’s sword, but that doesn’t bring me too much joy either. So we equip our halberds again and decide that we are going to hunt dragons with them instead. We finish the episode after speaking with the Dragon Communion Priestess. She is happy to help us in our pursuit to kill Bayle, because apparently she serves another dragon who is an enemy of Bayle.
