Kewl Tune - Herald Edition [CDP]

Do a creative spin on meta? Sure! ------------------------- Today's CDP features the return of the Kewl Tune theme to my channel, and while I'm sure enough people are tired of seeing this deck everywhere in the meta, I wanted to address a request to do something a little different with the archetype, ergo today's build. If you're not familiar with the Kewl Tune, this is a theme of all-Tuners that can use another Tuner in hand as Synchro Material when one of their monsters is on the field. Their best card is Kewl Tune Cue, a Level 3 LIGHT Fairy Tuner that summons any Tuner from hand/Deck/GY when Normal Summoned, but close behind it is Kewl Tune Rotary, a Level 1 Tuner that can look at the opponent's hand then tutor any Kewl Tune Spell after it is used as Synchro Material. Also, this theme makes great use of the wealth of Synchro Tuners as well as Fydraulis Harmonia, from Visas Amritara and Zalen the Shackled Dragon to their own Kewl Tune B2B which enables solid OTK prowess. Now while most meta Kewl Tune builds take the theme in a heavy hand-trap direction, I wanted to shine a spotlight on what a Diviner of the Herald engine can do in the deck. Why? Well Diviner of the Herald, when summoned, sends any Fairy from Deck/Extra Deck. For example, you can send Darklord Gulgolet, which gives you a free copy of Forbidden Droplet to hand. Or, if you already have 1-2 other Fairies in your GY, you can send Eva, which allows you to tutor copies of Herald of Orange Light and Herald of Green Light from deck to hand. Remember, Cue is a LIGHT Fairy and easily tutored with Kewl Tune Mix or Kewl Tune Track Maker, so either will almost always be live. The other benefit of this combo is that Diviner can be an ideal tribute for JJ "Kewl Tune", their Field Spell, as it will summon a copy of Red Nova when tributed, giving you access to Kewl Tune Reco if you didn't start with it for your combos.
