The Love That Overcame the World | “Take Heart, I Have Overcome the World” | John 16 Worship

Welcome to Jazz & Gospel | Lyrics & Prayer. In a world filled with countless voices, uncertainty, fear, and constant change, it can become difficult to know what is true and where to place our hearts. But Jesus said: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 “The Love That Overcame the World” is a worship song inspired by the central message of John 16. It is a confession of the peace that only Jesus can give, the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth, the joy that no one can take away, and the victory of Jesus Christ revealed through the cross and resurrection. When fear begins to rule our thoughts, when the voices of the world become louder than the Word of God, we remember the words of Jesus. Our courage does not come from our own strength. We can stand because Jesus has already overcome the world. Tears do not have the final word. Trouble does not have the final word. Jesus does. Jesus, You are my peace. Jesus, You are my joy. Jesus, You are my hope. Jesus, You are my victory. Whatever tomorrow may bring, we can rest in Christ and hear His eternal promise again: “Take heart. I have overcome the world.” Jazz & Gospel | Lyrics & Prayer
