In this teaching, we continue our study of the book of Acts by examining Acts 20:28–38, Paul’s powerful farewell charge to the elders of the church at Ephesus. Paul calls church leaders and believers to watch over themselves, care faithfully for God’s flock, guard against false teaching, depend on the Word of God’s grace, serve with integrity, support the weak, and live with the heart of Christ: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This passage highlights the priceless value of the church, which Christ purchased with His own blood.
