THE MIRACLE OF THE SUN | Gregorian Chants to Our Lady of Fatima

THE MIRACLE OF THE SUN | Gregorian Chants to Our Lady of Fatima On October 13, 1917, after hours of cold rain on the hill of the Cova da Iria, the clouds opened and the sun began to tremble, to spin and to dance in the sky before some seventy thousand people. Enter that hour of wonder with nine original Gregorian chants, and let the light after the rain reach your heart. Sung in Latin by male and female monastic voices that alternate from chant to chant, these luminous melodies follow that day step by step: the Woman clothed with the sun, the rain that turned to light, the Lady who said "I am the Lady of the Rosary", the great crowd on its knees, the three little shepherds, the call to penance and the promise of her Immaculate Heart. At Fatima, Our Lady asked for one simple thing: pray the Rosary every day. The sun obeyed its Creator for a few minutes so that believers and doubters alike would remember that God is near, that He hears the prayers of the little ones, and that no night lasts for ever. We ask for the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima, knowing that every grace comes from God alone. Let these chants accompany your Rosary, your prayer on the feast of October 13, your Eucharistic adoration, or the quiet hours of the night. Bring your darkest days to Our Lady. Bring the rain that will not stop. Bring your family and your Rosary. Bring the people you love who are far from God. Bring your hope of seeing the light again. Perfect for: Prayer and meditation The Holy Rosary Our Lady of Fatima feast day Sleep and relaxation Deep inner peace Eucharistic adoration May Our Lady of the Rosary pray for you, and may the Lord make His light shine upon you and your home. FINAL PRAYER: Holy Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary, on the thirteenth of October the sun danced over Fatima, and seventy thousand people fell to their knees in the rain-soaked fields. Almighty God, You made the sun and You hold it in Your hand: that day You gave a sign, so that we might believe and return to You. Lord, when our days are dark and the rain will not stop, give us the faith to wait for Your light. Mary, Mother clothed with the sun, pray for us, teach us to pray the Rosary every day, and lead us always to Jesus, the true Light of the world. Amen.
