What happens when, instead of looking outward, we gently turn our attention within? In yoga philosophy, Svadhyaya means self-study or self-reflection. It is an invitation to become curious about ourselves. To notice our thoughts, feelings, patterns and inner landscape without needing to judge, analyse or change anything. The Inner Mirror is a 21-minute Yoga Nidra practice inspired by Svadhyaya. A quiet opportunity to turn inward, to listen and to simply notice what is present beneath the busyness of everyday life. Yoga Nidra is a guided practice of deep rest, usually experienced lying down in a comfortable position. There is no need to stretch, achieve or concentrate. Instead, you are guided through awareness of the body, breath and sensations, allowing the mind and body to gradually settle into a state of deep relaxation. You don't need to know anything about yoga or meditation to practise Yoga Nidra. Simply find somewhere comfortable, make yourself warm and cosy, and allow yourself this time to rest. Perhaps, for these few minutes, you can put aside the need to do and simply become the observer, looking gently into your own inner mirror. This practice may be lovely to use when you:• Need a little space from the busyness of the day• Feel mentally or emotionally tired• Want to reconnect with yourself• Are finding it difficult to switch off• Simply need permission to rest There is nothing you need to discover and nothing you need to fix. Just listen, notice and rest. ✨ The Inner MirrorA 21-minute Yoga Nidra practice with The Native Soul Music from Uppbeat https://uppbeat.io/t/ambient-boy/the-... License code: WGZITEKFJRQXMUOZ
