Thirty years after Catching the Light, humanity attempts to make wormhole travel possible. The experiment sets an irreversible catastrophe in motion. Annukain has grown older, Eleanor is gone, and the civilisation built on their discoveries must confront the destruction of Earth Prime. The Caretakers are created and sent to a distant planet named Eden, charged with preparing it for humanity’s arrival. But Earth Prime’s people never reach them. The Caretakers remain at their posts, waiting for contact. British psychedelic and progressive rock forms the album’s core, with rolling Berlin School sequences, melodic electric bass, acoustic drums and extended clean electric-guitar solos. Human voices give way to mechanical archive transmissions as the story reaches the signal that connects this album to The Eden Transmission. This album completes the saga by returning to the events that made Eden necessary. 🎧 Headphones recommended.
