What if The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time had been recorded as a Brazilian album in the 1970s? This is a full reinterpretation of Koji Kondo's Ocarina of Time soundtrack through Brazilian MPB, Bossa Nova, samba-jazz, Brazilian jazz-funk and the experimental sounds of 60s and 70s Brazilian music. Rather than forcing every song into the same style, I tried to find a different Brazilian identity for each part of Hyrule. Some tracks are intimate and acoustic, some lean into Bossa Nova, others become psychedelic MPB, samba-jazz, Brazilian fusion or percussion-heavy instrumental pieces. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎵 TRACKLIST / TIMESTAMPS 00:00 - Title Theme 01:51 - Deku Tree 04:56 - House 05:55 - Kokiri Forest 06:59 - Shop 09:11 - Battle 11:28 - Inside the Deku Tree 13:51 - Boss Battle 16:18 - Legend of Hyrule 18:53 - Hyrule Field Main Theme 21:42 - Kaepora Gaebora's Theme 23:02 - Market 23:59 - Shooting Gallery 24:53 - Hyrule Castle Courtyard 26:18 - Zelda's Theme 28:37 - Lon Lon Ranch 31:50 - Kakariko Village 34:45 - Goron City 36:43 - Lost Woods 38:16 - Dodongo's Cavern 40:49 - Dodongo Boss Battle 43:03 - Zora's Domain 46:07 - Great Fairy's Fountain 47:56 - Potion Shop 48:59 - Temple of Time 51:18 - Ganondorf's Theme 53:13 - Chamber of the Sages 55:33 - Sheik's Theme 56:55 - Ingo's Theme 58:10 - Windmill Hut 01:00:15 - Forest Temple 01:02:43 - Fire Temple 01:05:02 - Water Temple 01:08:32 - Shadow Temple 01:11:07 - Gerudo Valley 01:14:05 - Spirit Temple 01:17:20 - Kotake & Koume's Theme 01:18:50 - Inside Ganon's Castle 01:22:05 - Last Battle 01:25:13 - End Credits ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎼 ORIGINAL MUSIC Original soundtrack composed by Koji Kondo. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🇧🇷 ABOUT THE MUSICAL DIRECTION MPB stands for Música Popular Brasileira — a broad Brazilian musical tradition that developed through the meeting of Brazilian songwriting, it could be many of the Brasilian Music, but this one is a classic Bossa Nova. Some arrangements are soft and nostalgic. Others are funky, psychedelic, experimental or heavily rhythmic. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ABOUT THE PRODUCTION / AI USE The creation is a hybrid AI-assisted process built around generation, AI stem separation, manual editing, mixing, mastering and visual design. I could just download the finished track, but the quality is bad, the instruments don't always talk with each other, and there are no fades or things like that, the full track can always work as a blueprint of what to do, but you will have some difficulties to make it sound like the original. I start by creating multiple versions of each track with AI-assisted music tools. From there, I generate/separate the audio into stems — so I can work with the individual parts manually. To be clear: I’m not playing or recording every instrument from scratch. The stems are AI-generated/separated, then I edit, clean, cut, layer, rearrange and rebalance them by hand. The AI output is only the starting point. I go through different versions, keep the parts that work, remove weak sections, rebuild transitions, fix awkward moments and try to keep the original melodies recognizable while reshaping the soundtrack into a new style. I’m not a professional musician or audio engineer. I learned by experimentation, YouTube videos and basic mixing/mastering study. I generate/separate the audio into stems first, then bring those stems into FL Studio for most of the arrangement and editing work. Adobe Audition is used for detailed cleanup, fades, volume correction, audio polishing, final preparation and overall mastering. The final video is assembled in Adobe Premiere Pro, where I place the audio, time the sequence, animate the cover/CD-style visuals and prepare the final export. The artwork is mostly internet references, the characters are always the original ones from the game covers, sometimes I use AI for backgrounds and elements, but I don't just generate an image on any AI and upload it. AI makes the scale possible, but it’s not a one-click upload. Every release still goes through manual selection, AI stem work, arrangement, editing, mixing, mastering, visual design and final video production. IF you wanna know the tools used: AI-assisted music generation tools and AI stem generation/separation FL Studio (For stems editing) Adobe Audition (For mastering) Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Photoshop AI image-generation tools Thats it, it's not a 100% automated process but i'm no professional musician, all i've know of mastering and audio fx is learned thru Youtube. If you would like to know more, feel free to ask. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ #Zelda #OcarinaOfTime #BrazilianMPB #BossaNova #KojiKondo #ZeldaMusic #VideoGameMusic #VGM #Nintendo64 #BrazilianMusic
