If you ever have the opportunity to go hiking in the Waterberg area, don't think twice, just do it, you will not regret your decision. It's a beautiful place, very rewarding. We stayed in the Skeurkrans camp. It has a basic setup, no electricity but all the comfort you need. Cooking facilities, gas-fridge, braai, flush toilets and showers. The trails were in need of maintenance. The camp was fine but the trails had been neglected for some time due to the covid restrictions.
