Inside Dubai's Only Classic Porsche Workshop | Nine Eleven RSR Shop Tour

Strap in, buckle up, cuz we're back in the chair — and this one's completely out of order. A little bit Ocean's Eleven, cuz the gang's getting back together. I'm dropping a video from Dubai, sitting down with an old mate — Jonas — who used to wrench on my Porsche 930 when I lived here. Jonas is now one of the owners and the main workshop guru at Nine Eleven RSR — the first workshop in the Emirates given over entirely to classic Porsche. Purpose-built facility in Al Quoz, climate-controlled, and one single discipline: the air-cooled Porsche. Engine rebuilds, full restorations, routine service — every stage under one roof. Nothing watercooled in this shop — unless it's a transaxle. So the 924, 944, 968 and 928 crew still get invited to the party, but if you rolled up in a 996 you'd be politely asked to keep driving. We do the full tour. Cars up on stands, engines out on benches, a couple of builds in the corner that stopped me in my tracks.
