How Chanakya Trained Chandragupta | Chanakya & Chandragupta Maurya | The Vedic Vault

Why did Chanakya choose Chandragupta, and how did he train him? Every source gives a different answer, and the darkest one ends with a blade. A lion licks a sleeping fugitive and walks away. A manual sets out a prince's every afternoon. A Greek envoy at his court never names a teacher. And in a Sri Lankan monks' story, Chanakya hangs the same amulet on two boys and only one of them wakes up. This is Source-First: three sources, oldest first, dated, and both sides shown where they disagree. Genius teacher, or monster? You decide.
